Spell for a Raise or Promotion

Items required: an envelope, a green pen, three leaves of fresh mint, a sprig of rosemary, three heads of lavender flower or lavender essential oil, three silver coins, an aventurine or pyrite crystal, a lock of your hair.

Timing: at the new moon.

Bear in mind that higher pay or a promotion generally comes with greater responsibility, so be certain this is what you want before you cast this spell. To bring about a pay rise, a promotion or both, take the envelope and write down the new job title and salary you are aiming for on the inside of the flap, using the green pen. Next fill the envelope with the following items: aventurine or pyrite crystal and mint leaves for prosperity, lavender for luck, rosemary for growth and success, and three silver coins to increase your earnings. Add the tag-lock of your hair, seal the envelope and say:

Time to shine and room to grow

Greater success I wish to know

A promotion sealed within this place

It comes to me through time and space

By earth, moon and sun

By magic it is done

Once you have been granted the pay rise or promotion, empty the contents of the envelope into the earth, keeping the coins back for future prosperity spells. Give thanks for the new role by burning incense and dedicate it to your chosen deity.
